anyone go to the CES show this year? pioneer is apparently going to release the AVIC-D1 by spring 2005. it looks to be the double din version of the AVIC-N1. it also has XM NavTraffic, but they will bundle it with XM radio for $13.99/month.

Wow, just what I've been waiting for. I didn't like the single DIN look of the N-1. The Eclipse is nice too but I really like the XM Traffic.

Now if the price isn't too high...

New to the forum and love it! I have been lurking for 2 months as I decided on my truck. 2004 F150 Lariat 4x4. Beige, Tan leather front bench seat - need the extra seat. Just ordered a BedRug.

 

I just did some further research and found out that the D-1 doesn't play DVD's like the N-1/N-2!

Booo Pioneer! Missing out on some market share and giving the competition a chance to catch up (I wish they would hurry up already).
