I had breakfast with the local retired folks this morning. It was a riot.

I'm available the first and second weekend of the month. Two suggestions for starters:

5/1 Milwaukee
6/5 Johnson Creek
7/3 Kenosha
8/7 Dells

or

5/08 Milwaukee
6/12 Johnson Creek
7/10 Dells
8/14 Kenosha

 

sounds like most are from the lower southeast of the state, how about a meet in johnson creek???? greenscrew, i'd really like to check out your truck/mods!!!

 

I'll make an attempt to make all four. It's a challenge to come up with a place and date that works for every one. I think we should just do it and see what happens. Maybe next year we try: Milwaukee, Beloit, Dells, Green Bay?? It's a big state.

 

I would be up for it, if the meeting place was closer. I would maybe do the dells, but thats still a 2hr drive for me. If it were in La Crosse or Eau Claire I would definitely be up for a meeting. I could probably get a couple more guys also, but I don't think they would be willing to travel that distance either.

 

I'm down. You guys can't laugh cuz my truck is just that, a truck, nothing fancy lol. It should be pretty loud by the time we get this together tho. Maybe I'll try to talk the gf in to wash/waxing it for me lmao.

 

I hear ya PHS79. I would like to meet in La Crosse, but would have to plan that around one of my trips Sparta or Red Wing. We could also plan any one of these around one of your travel dates.

stang88 - I've been told the same thing about my truck. I guess our job is to oohh and aww over the other truck's mods. I did order a front hitch for my truck today so I can carry more bicycles to the trail.

 

Maybe i'll even take the dog box off for the trip down there LMAO.

 

The only weekends that I know that wouldn't work for me are:

May 7-9
May 14-16
June 3-6
June 26
July 1-12

Other than those dates I am open pretty much most of the summer.

May 15-16

Hopefully I'll be killing some turkey's those weekends!! haha

My trucks nothing special either, but it would still be cool to get together.
It would be real cool if we had some older f150's too and lined up a "legacy" of 150's in order in a parking lot

 

We can revisit later and see if something works out for a La Crosse meeting. Where is a good spot to meet?

 

Buffalo Wild Wings is only 300 yds or so off I-90 (exit 6 I think), technically its in Onalaska but La Crosse and Ona might as well be the same city, BWW has a good size parking lot so even if the are really busy their should still be places to park there or at the bank right next door. That way we could check out everyones trucks, BS a bit, and then those that want can grab a bit to eat afterworks

Maybe I will start another thread, so I don't derail this one, to see if anyone in north east Iowa or south east Minnesota (Winona/Rochester) would want to meet up. I know that there were a couple members from those areas on here also, and La Crosse isn't very far from those areas. What do you think about this?

 

what happened to meeting in the dells? now johnson creek? i mean i'll go were ever just thought the dells was the plan?? when we going to do this???

 

i like the dells or johnson creek...la crosse is a little bit of a drive for me, pretty much any weekend is open for me june thru august...except for june 25th weekend, zz top/tom petty are at summerfest and buffet is at alpine the following day....

 

I'm good with the dells. It's pretty much mid-state so everyone is gonna have a little drive, coast to coast lol.

 

BWW sounds good. I'll be up there 5/29 or 5/30. That would be my choice. I'm thinking we can work out the details here, then start a new thread for each meeting when we finalize the date, time, and location details.
