But I am from Wichita here!.

But if you want to get down to it, The truck and I are located in Goddard. (I guess I should add my family too. )

Thumbs up I've been drooling over the new 2011"s!

The new trucks sure are nice! I'm absolutely amazed with the new 3.5L V6 twin turbo engine. This thing cranks out 365HP and 420 ft. lbs. of torque! That's more than my 5.4L 3V V8! When mounted in a new F-150 XLT Scab/Longbed with the "Payload Package", it can pull more than my truck and any other make of a half ton truck!!! I italicized the "XLT" because the "Payload Package" wasn't available in 2005 in anything but an "XL". Check out the EcoBoost Torture Test videos at the Ford website below (well worth watching):

In one word, "Amazing!"

Bosley Wheel and Tire

As far as any questions about coming from outside of Wichita to go to Bosley Wheel and Tire..... DON'T! Bosley is known for ripping people off and selling knock off rims. I speak from expierience when I unknowingly bought a set of "Pacer" rims that were knock offs of Panther rims. The rims have been nothing but trouble with leaking beads and chrome that was pitted and starting to crack within 6 months. Also when they installed my wheels they gave me a list of things that were wrong with the front end, ball joints, bearings, rod ends, blah blah blah, which totalled 3200.00. I still had warranty on my truck and when I took it back to the dealer they found nothing wrong at all. Lesson learned! I would not buy a bicycle tire from Bosleys!!!

Hutchinson....here. what shops are trustworthy for tuning. Considering doing a turbo build. Truck is used mostly on street but once or twice a month we tow an 8x16 enclosed trailer out of state. But there isn't much weight in the trailer. Maybe 400 lbs. inside.

Unfortunately, I've yet to find a good mechanic or shop (at least in the Topeka area) that does good work and doesn't want both of your arms and one leg in return. I have no choice but to rely on myself to do all of my own work... but, I'm all ears if anyone knows a good, honest mechanic with resonable prices. I would rather pay someone else to repair my vehicles these days (I'm getting old).

I did rather enjoy the drive through the Flint Hills though, very nice.

I hear ya. I'm gonna start with some small mods so I don't need a tuned right away. I've considered getting some college for business and automotive to start a tuning shop. That's dreaming big though. LoL
