OK, lets hope for good weather this coming Sunday the 12th. Who has actually done their own plug change on the 5.4? I think of all the items (tranny fluid, rear diff, fuel filter) this is the major one I would like to try to get done. I've never done one on our trucks. The last time I changed spark plugs was on a 79 LTD with a 302. I've never had to deal with the coil packs before. I'll do some searching, but as a quick question, it isn't necessary to change coil packs with spark plugs, right?

We'll say a start time of 10 AM. That should give us time to do whatever we need to do. I have my wife, 2 kids, (ages 5 and 7, both boys) 3 dogs, and 2 cats, so if you want to bring someone along, it won't bother me.
