Everything sounds like a good plan so far!

05- Good call on the charcoal grill and trying to bring it back home with hot coals!

So to summarize everything so far:

WHERE: Mahoney State Park (specific meeting place within park TBA)
WHEN: 5:00 pm on June 7th, 2009
WHAT (TO BRING): Your own food and drinks (and your F150!!!)
WHO: Family/Friends/F150 Fanatics

Did I miss anything??

I will call John from Pro Tint and invite him along as well. He's a nice guy - hope he can make it too.

Sounds like a plan to me. My son is 10, so it sounds like there will be other kids there for him to play with.

Hey, sounds like a good plan on the meet and greet. My wife and 2 year old daughter will probably come along, she loves the playground as well. We were there mothers day weekend and there are some good sites near the playground which should work pretty well if I remember right. We could bring some potato salad or something easy to share for a side dish? later

Unfortunately no state park or recreation area allows the consumption of alcoholic beverages

Sweet this meet and greet is looking like it will be a big turn out

To the guys that made it out to last years, are we really going to know how to conduct an event of this magnitude? I mean last year it was seven trucks with just a few simple mods now look at where we have made it to! (and how much money we have lost )

NICE AR!!! I know you've done a lot of custom stuff to that. Bet it shoots pretty amazing! Are you going to add any laser sights or anything else to it or are you done modding it?

Are those Leapers scope rings? They look identical to the ones I just put on my Remington 700 .223. I just got it sighted it @ 100 yards here this past weekend. At least, it's pretty close. Still a bit of fine tuning to do but I ran out of bullets.

As far as out 2nd get together goes - bigger is better!! I hope everyone can make it. I can't wait - just hope the weather co-operates with us. I hope they have a big parking lot/area!

Ya I am for the most part done with that rifle, I am going to add a chrome trigger and I will be adding a few more titanium internal pieces that I don't have in it yet. I may be adding a 2 stage jewel trigger to it as well still undecided. I will be adding a laser and stuff like that to the tactical build I am doing next. I have way to much into that rifle pictured, about the only thing that is actually still original in the build is the retaining pins. I will start with a new one so I don't feel guilty

The remington 700 is looking sweet, I will have to come shoot with ya sometime.

Not yet. I'm going to once over the carbs tonight, start putting the misc crap back on. Won't be able to get it to the water until the weekend, and then I'll be lucky if the weather is nice enough. Nothing like a long weekend, and chitty weather to go along with it.

At least the end is near for the rebuild.
