Eh, besides missing everything about America and being able to do what i want when i want to its not that bad. You got good days and bad days. I guess it all depends on where your gonna be and what you will actually be doing. Some people stay on a base every day and never really see anything, but ive seen my fair shair and im ready to come home and be done with this place. I just want to be able to drive my truck and drink beer, is that really too much to ask.

Either way, enjoy the Holidays with Family and Freinds, and be say over here when the time comes

 

Oh yes, was up there in August. I go about once every 2 or 3 years. It's harder to do know with the family. Had to break in the 03 with the 35's this time around. I never had it out there. She handled like a champ though. I am trying to make it annual trip and I should be getting a quad soon also (I hope). I'll be posting here next summer when I head back out to see if any of you other guys are heading out there at the same time by chance...

Yea, I go to silver lake about 2 times per summer. I am in Big Rapids (50 Miles north of Grand Rapids)

 

Im in the Air Force, but I work with Army Specops a lot of the time. And right now im actually not in Iraq for the remainder of my deployment im in another Persian Gulf Country that prefers to be unnamed. While in Iraq/Afghanistan i was doing a lot of C.I. work and TF Troy type stuff. Cant really get into it all that much

Yeah i know where Big Rapids is, my family camps at Brower park the entire summer.

Hey a Yooper! Welcome man, I'm from Marquette/Stephenson (moved in high school)....got transferred down to Metro Detroit because of my job. I miss it up there :o
