Offroading in Michigan

This is my first "real" truck. I have a 06 F-150 Supercab XLT. I am looking to take this this off road just a little bit but have no idea where to go and I have never been off roading before. I for sure don't want to get crazy and go anywhere that will tear my truck up. But I do want to have a little fun with this thing. Where should I go in Michigan?

thanks in advance.

make your own path, i havent been able to find a lot of places up here that are much fun without being too "extreme" for my stock truck. what i have found has all been places you would get into trouble for if you got caught.

Silver Lake Sand dunes is a nice place. Im going there for the weekend on the 15th. Lots of sand, and theres some nice water holes too if you want to get muddy.

Always lots of sweet trucks to check out while youre there. I drive my truck in there, but ride the bike most of the time while in there.

Thumbs up cool site

Wow! just checked out your web site!!! Can I be your friend? Just kidding... very informative site!

As I mentioned above, the Michigan DNR has maps for all types of offroading vehicles. the full size truck trails range from very clear to not so clear. You may get some rub marks from tree branches, but nothing you couldn't handle with the products you advertise on your site.

Michigan Action

Hey guys newbie here but id thought id let you know of some sweet 4 by 4 action going on out here in the Pinckney/Howell area.

3 ifferent guys with in 10 minutes of my house have huge mudbogs almost every weekend 2 of the 3 also have 1/8 sanddrag tracks set up with up timing booths guard rails everything.
You can see anything from a 1800 hp sandrail race a snowmobile, quad, dunebuggy, or a truck.

Usally only a $5 donation gets you in.

I'll post next time ones coming up
