Ok guys, looks like we have about 11 people that have showed some type of interest in a "club", I think its more about having an excuse to all meet up check out some trucks, and have some "soda"! And that works just fine for me, so lets start there.
here is what we need-
date?
time?
place?
So I will fill in the balnks, and see how it works for everyone (again, suggestions are welcome)
Date - April 22 (saturday)
Time - 6pm (or close to)
Place - hmmmm.......?????? well I guess this depends on where exactly everyone is located, I know there are 2 people at the Ohio border, 3 people in Maddison Heights, 1 in Harrison Township, 1 in Waterford, and 1 in Livonia, thats 8, I need 3 more!
Maddison Heights would be an ideal location if BigBlack, and FX4ME2 are willing to drive about 30min past the Lake Point Yacht Club!
I say this cuz 696 and 75 go through Maddison Heights, easy to get to, and from!
Well......this is where all of you come in, reply to this thread, with your thoughts and opinons, and lets see if we can do this!

madison heights works fore me, lol. so far the 22nd works, i will probably be a late arrival, unless i can bribe my parents into babysitting a little early. where? well, who's got good drink specials on a saturday? i mean, "soda" specials that is....

 

I believe we are free on the 22nd. An easy place to meet with a bunch of trucks owuld be the Texas Roadhouse at 12 & John R (just off of 75). We probably couldn't all sit together at 1 table (they don't have any that big). Just a suggestion.

there's a new Buffalo Wild Wings at 9 and Woodward. plenty of parking and i believe you dont have to feed the parking meters on weekends. There's also a Hooters at 15 & John R in Troy.

Hey all, lets go for the 29th, Im kinda thinkin about Auggies, on Jhon R north of 13 mile. Parking lot isnt huge, but for the maybe 10 or so trucks we'll have, we can take up a back row there. Its been a while since ive been there, (about a year), but good drink prices, and a basic "bar" menu. I belive they still have bands that play there on weekends, but that wouldnt start till 9-10 sometime, plus we would all beable to sit together. Just my thoughts. Hey bigrob, and rdy2rac, what do you guys think about this?
