I drove through your backyard today on the way back from BG... Also did some work there at the Hampton Inn several years ago -- next to the waste water lagoons for the city.

Welcome to f150online.com! We're glad to have you aboard.... like you, I have a F-150 and will soon have a 1978 Bronco XLT Ranger (72K original miles and in great shape!)

Hey guys,

Another relatively new Kentucky member reporting in. I live in Louisville too. Have a 2002 F-150 King Ranch, 5.4L auto, charcoal blue/arizona biege, 4x2, 3.55 Limitied Slip, Charcoal Blue Line-X, and Charcoal Blue Lund air deflector. I've been hanging around in the King Ranch forum and ventured down here today.

RockPick,
Soccer time is probably Calvert City's busiest weekend of the year. I try to avoid the crowd, but I hope all of you enjoy our town and area while you are here.

Hello,

Flemingsburg here. 2004 SCrew Lariet. 16,000 miles.

I have a situation with my dealer that I thought someone could give me advice with. I took my truck to the local dealer a couple of weeks ago for service and a couple of warranty issues. My rear power slider isn't working and the truck stalls when idle. Sometimes actually dies. The dealer says he reflashed the pcm. Still have the problem.

As far as the power slider....he said the "guys" have never worked on one and he would prefer I get someone else to look at it.

What do you guys think about this? I guess I kinda feel like the dealership has a responsibility to me as a longtime Ford customer. I can think of at least 8 different vehicles new and used my family has bought from this dealer within the last 15 years.

Should I chalk it up as the service manager just having a bad day and try again? Go above him? Change dealers? Contact Ford?

I would be interested in your opinions. Thanks.

I'd change dealerships.

The stall thing has been mentioned several times in the 2004+ forum... as has the power slider issues. Both don't seem to be terribly uncommon unfortunately.

Do a little searching within the 04+ forum and I think you'll find several instances of both -- along with some fixes that have been performed.

G'lucK!
