Who here has been to the Beech Bend dragstrip? Those of you who have been there, can you tell me when they open the strip for normal people like me. I don't want to compete or anything, I just want to see what my Lightning has in it.

I went to school in Bowling Green and thus, I've been there several times...

As for schedules, I'm not sure... seems to me like they had a website but I can't seem to put my finger on it.

I have a buddy down there that's into racing; I'll shoot him an email to see if he can dig something up.

No problem. I found out earlier(on another forum), that a group of people in Western Ky is having a get together and are going to Beech Bend on June 11. I plan on going if everything works out. WOO HOO!!!!!!

It'd be a good time I'm sure... we'll see how my work schedule works out. I should be cranking up on that mega-project in Missery by then... not sure if I'll be able to make it.... we'll see.
