How about Wisconsin??
I live in a little town called, "Edgerton". Its about 10 miles north of Janesville just off of I-90.
Its a nice little town, but Im looking to move to NE Wisconsin hopefully in the near future.
I spend a lot of time in the Minocqua/Eagle River area in the winter and Id like to move up there so that I can more time riding my snowmobile and less timing driving back and forth from northern Wisconsin to southern Wisconsin.
With going up there almost every other weekend from December-March, the gas bills gets kinda expensive after a while.
Im also looking to move up there just because its a simpler, slower-paced, more laid-back way of life up there. That area doesnt have the noise, the traffic, pollution, the heat, the humidity and the hustle 'n bustle that you have in the southern part of the state.

I cant stand living in a place where we rarely have a white Christmas and the snowmobile trails are only open 2 weeks out of the year.

I need to live in a place where the snowmobile trails open in early December and have ridable snow all the way through to late March.

Mercer is nice. I wouldnt say its the same as Minocqua. Mercer is kinda out in the boonies.
I'll be back up in the Minocqua area in 2 weeks. Im taking Thursday and Friday off of work and we have off Monday for Labor Day, so its going to be a nice 5-day weekend for me.
Im planning on relaxing, drinking some beer and I'll most likely be putting some miles on my parents' '68 Mustang.
Im looking foreward to winter. Hopefully we will get lots of snow this winter and I can put some serious miles on my sled. My record for a single winter is 1200 miles and Im hoping to get 1500 this winter.

What kind of sled you got man?? My GF's brothers are big into sleds. They have 2 Polaris sleds, ones a Switchback and the other is a Fusion...I think. They also just picked up a polaris 600 that has a ton of custom work done to it. Some shop up in NYC pimped it out. Its got all the 600 stickers but its bored out, nice sleeper. I went up with them last year to Hurley. That is a badass place to ride.
I just checked out your myspace. that red sled you have is very similar to the 600 I'm talking about except theirs is blue/yellow

'01 Polaris Indy 600 XC SP EDGE X
4 1/2" articulating handlebar risers
Powermadd handguards
Pro-X seat
Clutch kit
Nothing special, but Ive made some mods to it to make it fit how I ride and it gets the job done. Id like to trade it in on a Polaris IQ Shift, but right now Im working on getting all my bills paid off so that I can sell my house and move to NE Wisconsin, plus Im saving up to get a newer truck in a couple years, so Im going to run the old sled for a least a few more years.
