I know I don't live in the Great State of Michigan, but I work there and can see the Detroit skyline from my house. Canadian neighbour just outside Windsor Ont.

Tim,

Yes, you need an ORV sticker, even if just forest roads. Some of those 2 tracks might not classify as a road and they will get ya.
Better safe then sorry..
