Wink Hey RP, hows the weather up there?

Down here we got like 10" or 11" of snow. Got bad enough to turn a 40 mile area of I-24 into a parking lot(You prolly saw it on the news).

Couple of other pics.

Look at all that, the main roads still look like that to(though they are driveable). My Lightning has been sitting in the guarge since Monday and it sucks not being able to drive it, but I don't dare drive in in this mess, it wouldn't make it out the driveway.

Oh well, so hows it look up there in no mans land, anybetter?

Merry 'belated' Christmas to you too...

We got around 10" of snow/ice/sleet up in LaGrange (just outside of Lville). I drove down to see the parentals this weekend and the WK was HELLISH! It took almost 6 hours to get from my house to Madisonville... I had it in 4wd from Central City (Muhlenburg Co) all the way into Madisonville.

It was good to see the family but, probably a stupid decision to have done it.

I heard I-24 was a nightmare... those pictures seem to proove it. Just north of Louisville in Indiana, they got around 3 FEET of winter precip. That effectively closed I-65 between north of Lville and Indianapolis. Crazy/crappy weather!

Oh yeah, and it's supposed to be damn near 70 degrees for New Year's? What in the hell!??!

Oh yeah. I shot that pic on the deck from back of the house.

Here is the back yard.

Im in the house with the fence(sp?) and boat dock with the 2 jet ski floats(BTW, all the snow in that pic has melted).

So, when was the last time you drove through the neighberhood?

SWEEET HOUSE!

I dream of a pad like that one of these days...

I was actually down there earlier this month doing some work around Cadiz (see this thread where I tried to find you...).

I was looking at a piece of property (nearly 4500 acres) over around Hurricane Church Road and Prizer Point Marina/Trigg Furnace for a bank. BEAUTIFUL tract of land. I really wish I owned it. I'm not sure what it was going for but, I can ASSURE YOU that it wasn't cheap. Densely forested land... deer everywhere... just gorgeous.

Yeah, the temps here were about the same. The weird thing now is that our highs and lows have been in the 60s for almost a week. WTF is up with the weather?

Yeah... no kidding.

High of 40 tomorrow but then back up around 70 next week?!? I know the lower Ohio Valley has some weird weather (I've lived in and around it all of my life) but, this, to my recollection, takes the cake... and it's a great big and fluffy cake.

Come on RP, winter has just begun!

I heard that 3 lanes of Fall Creek Parkway up here in Indy collapsed today because of the flooding

I haven't heard any labels yet, but I'm expecting it to be at least a 100 or 200 yr flood. They are reporting flooding is worse than Labor Day of 2003, which I think was labelled a 200 year flood (?)
