Yep...Born in raised here in Louisville. I live out in the Valley Station area, but work out in the Lyndon area. I am pretty much running all over the county and then some..lol

Like Brad said, I am the KY chapter Pres over on another site and we can always hook up with the guys here for some of our meets. We are just one big happy family.

Wow, I grew up in Valley Station/PRP area!!! Most of my family still lives there. Iam out off New Cut Rd. now.
And once upon a time I used to work at the old Kroger on Dixie in Valley Station, theres a Meijers there now.

I just pick up my first Lightning and I'm very impressed with this truck. I bought it from a local dealer in Lexington. The truck's carfax said it was from Indiana, so I have no info. on any mods. or
previous owner.

Is there anyone is or near Lexington that would like to look over my truck and show me What or If I may have on this F150.
There is a toggle switch under the dash?
There is a toggle switch under the Hood?
I need all the help I can get.

Toggle switch?
Look in the bed of your truck..........is there four holes drilled in there in a square pattern like something big was mounted there? If so, the toggle switch was for a GE heavy duty turbine jet engine that was mounted back there. A local southern Indiana guy used to run around with it. Seen the truck a few times(had to look really fast though).
And Iam full of sh*t, lol. Really though, welcome to the club, glad to hear you like your truck, Lightnings are pretty awesome. Hopefully someone can take a look at your truck to help you out on the toggle switches. You might try the Lightning group on here also. Did you trace the wires from the switches to see were they go?
If all else fails, you could go ahead and get a jet engine, you'd already have the toggle switches.

Sorry about the toggle switch? I'm not a technical person and dont know alot about performance vechicle. This is my first and I'm excited to get in and learn. I'm going to try and trace the wires down and see what happens. I'm afraid to flip the switch, this thing might just take off....

As for the folks in that area...

There's a pretty good group of guys and gals there in the Lexington area that are Lightning enthusiasts... Keep an eye on the boards and you'll see one or two of the folks from there posting...

Blame it on my ignorance that I never posted on this particular forum before.
I'm in Frankfort and I work at Boone National Guard Center. I'm a UH-60 Blackhawk Crewchief/Mechanic. ANd I LOVE my S-crew! I've done a few little mods to her so far and, thanks to this Forum, am thinking of a few more.

RockPIck, I SCUBA dive in LaGrange at Joe Clark's Quarry. Oldham Co. is growing fast, isn't it? Did you ever get to that "light your truckbed" mod? I was curious how it went if you did?

I'd also like to added to any Ford Truck Owners Clubs,Groups, etc. around here. I l enjoy looking at other Ford Trucks and seeing what else I need to do to mine!!!

It looks like you've been busy with your truck. I'd love to check it out sometime. I have a White over Parchment 02 S-Crew. I think I"ve seen 1 other 1 in town, but mine has a UH-60 Blackhawk license plate on the front and a Line of Fire Brakelight on the back. I also have a KY National Guard license plate on the back.

How do you like your Magnaflow? Did you have it installed in town or DIY?
I'm interested in a new exhaust, but I'd like to hear different ones to find out what I want. I definately don't want anything too loud!

Sorry for the delayed reply, I've been busy lately. I installed the Magnaflow myself. It sounds mellow while cruising but roars when stepped on. I love it. We'll have to get together sometime and talk trucks. I go past the base all the time, today I was over at the NGA Ky building looking at their phones and local area network. See you soon.

I haven't tackled the bed light thing but, it's on my list. It seems almost too simple but, I'm sure I'll find a way to screw it up. LOL!

I am familiar with the quarry you've mentioned. I stumbled across it once when the wifey and I were out driving around one weekend. Very pretty area back in there...

You're right about Oldham Co... population EXPLOSION out here. They recently have been working on plans for another 180 acre subdivision ( I just did some environmental work out there). In fact, it's off of 4th Street there which, if I'm not mistaken, is the direction back towards the quarry...
