I havent heard good things about the V10 as far as performance.... bad numbers all the way around from dyno to gas pump..... I test drove one in an F250 or F350 before I bought my truck and wasnt impressed.

changed my mind on the trade. thought that I could replace the motor twice, the tranny twice, new better lift, and paint, and tires by the time I paid for the Ex. what do you think about fiber glass baja style fenders on my 150 you think they would look alright? Im thinking about getting a pair just $ 450 not to bad if ya think about it, I mean dont have a wife, still live at home, nothing else to spend $$ on so what the hell.. right?

Thumbs down

well I was out driving around in the country on the back roads not really hot rodding it to much then I came back in town and I was just driving down the road and I down shifted like I always do and snap clunk clunk clunk, skreech, to a stop, well it broke the locker or in my case limited slip thingy in half chewed up my pinion gear and chipped teeth on my ring gear put shaving all down the axel tubes and over the rear end looks like I get that new detriot and those 4.56's if only I had money lol think I got the zuki going so at least I have a ride, gonna be cold and wet this weekend the top leaks and it dont have a back glass!!!

well I found one the guy wants 550.00 for it it is 3.73's but I plan on putting lower gears in it any ways so it dont realy matter it is a little bigger housing like what is suppose to be under my truck instead of the 2 wheel drive axle cant belive those idiots put one of those under a 4x4 leta lone a offroad packaged truck , looking for more tho if ya here of one with 3.55's holla at me kinda be a drive to go get one up there but if i cant find one w/ 3.55's here might have to if I get the one w/ 3.73's I wont be able to use 4 wheel this winter!! still looking.

Well you can use 4wd if your in a pinch, it's not good on the transfer to run 2 different gear ratios, but if your in a ditch I wouldn't hesitate to use it to get me out and back on the road.

I'll keep my ears open... have you checked the salvage yards? May not get a Detroit locker... but might get another cheap LSD complete axle with 3.55's, then you dont have to worry about those shavings..

yeah I know Im useing this SEMO slang (the house) well I found another one 450. from the same guy but I have to pull it out from under the truck and put another one under it so a little work for 100. less dollars this one is out of a s:crew it has 3.55's so that will work but it has disk breaks instead of drums but I like disc rear I think all I have to have is the emergency break cable off that truck, o and it has a good drive shaft that I think will fit mine been having to fix my zuki the alt. well the voltage regulator went out and it was boiling my batterie but it is going now and I think Im getting that rear friday gonna take off work early to go pull it and hopefully get it put in this weekend
