I like that idea better myself.

I dont know why... I love chrome.... but for some reason I dont like the look of chrome diff covers.... now I have seen some show vehicles that the entire axle is chromed, along with leaf springs shakles, shocks, etc. and that looks good... Maybe it's the floating chrome plate look I don't like.

Hey have any of ya'll had the OD light on your shifter flash after getting out on the road mine does after a little while of driving but the trany dont slip and ante dry pulls alright and the vent tubes are clean on my trans case , it is a little over full on fluid but I dont know its done it for about a year now I just unhook my batterie for a little while and it wont flash for a few weeks or so then all the sudden it will flash when I start going down the road changed filter and fluid in it once about 3 months ago, and all I get on the trans. forum thingy is smart a** remarks know I need to take it to the Ford place and let them scan it but $$ you know. On the latter note I think Im gonna paint it Maroon like the truck

There is 100's of threads on the flashing OD light, thats why it got smart A$$ remarks.... It's always best to use the search tool before asking.

It means there is a problem... only way to find out what the problem might be, is with a good PCM code reader, most good mechanics have one as well as a dealer. The OBDII code readers can't access the PCM, so it has to be the high dollar (read $1000 +) code reader to get them. Get it checked out ASAP, because a small problem can turn into a new trans. if ignored.

One guy said along time ago to count the flashes... the pause is where you put the decimal point and that is how much it's going to cost.....

Sweet!!!

Atleast it matches.... There is a beat up 94 +, white dodge flat bed that painted his red here in town... doesn't look like he did any prep and looks like he used plain cheap krylon, with no primer. It is funny looking on that older beat up white truck.

As far as the tranny, yea a hundred or two now beats a couple thousand later.

Naw, unhooking the battery clears the OBDII codes but not the PCM codes.... that code will still be there until cleared by the PCM scan tool.
