Good trusted shops?

Its getting that time for my truck to have some work done. Getting to 100k w/o any major problems but its time for a tune up and to fix an exhaust leak from my manifold. Just seeing if there are any places that yall have had good experiences with. The truck has been sitting for the last six months due to deployment. Thanks in advance.

I do gears. Just bought all my own 8.8 set up tools. Also can lay my hands on the 9 3/4 tools, too.

What do yall recommend I do for my tranny at this time. When I got my plugs done they checked the tranny fluid and said it was getting to be in really bad shape. As far as the history I dont know if its ever been changed/flushed/etc. Is it worth it to get it flushed from a dealer, or just drop the pan and replace filter/screen? Thanks in advance.

Just do it yourself. It's a lot cheaper and you know it was done right

you can drain the converter on your trans, and replace the filter which is about 85% of all the fluid. Flushing at the dealer doesn't replace the filter.

I can do that, no problem. Just email, cause I don't check this all the time.
