Hi galaxy I blew a sparkplug in my 99 f150 5.4. By chance are you still renting out your time sert kit?
    Thanks and happy holidays Mike

Hi, You must get tired of all the "do you rent the time sert kit" messages!! For that I apologize because I have to ask!

So you still loan out the 5553 time sert kit? I am new to this forum because I have a super duty and I hang out on the diesel forums mostly, but I have a 4.6L Crown Vic that just crapped out a plug two days ago! Thanks!

Hi, I'm sorry to ask you about renting a kit for my 98 XLT 5.4 4x4, since you are way busy helping so many others! Perhaps if you can share some insight to my problem and not worry about your tools this time (unless you have one handy).
185K now, #4 plug blew @ 174K. I had a shop do a Timesert + R&R all other plugs. 10K miles since, and 2 more,#3&7, blew in past 1000 miles. I'm taking a trip to the Sierras in a month and want to do last 5 before that. All 5 plugs look pretty visible so I was looking for #5553 kit but too pricey for me, having recently lost my job.
I spoke w/ Time Fasteners and was told I could also use a less expensive kit (4412E). I have time since I'm now home a bunch, I do most of my wrenching on my vehicles, the job doesn't look too bad for my ability and the cost saving is HUGE. I could use your input when you can, but am ready to buy the 4412E kit + the inserts #44186 (16.8mm long) plus the Loctite #266 and their oil (or 30wt?)
    Thank you in advance,
    Mitch
