its been awhile since ive been on just got internet in my house but yeah the truck mods never quit ha. im really wanting a 2011 f150 with the 5.0 so im going crazy thinking about it, my buddy has a single cab 4x4 with the 5.0 and that truck hauls ass with that new motor
nice its defantly the only one ive seen down here that looks like yours. nice choice with the rims and tire size they fit perfect under that truck do you drive it everyday or is it just a show truck
mitchell but yeah u were close. how big is that lift your running with those tires and did you change your gearing out i see you were talking to someone about it
When I had 33's on the truck my gas mileage increased about 3 mpg with the 4.56 gears. I did not notice much difference in gas mileage with the programmer, maybe 1mpg, but the power did increase. If you are planning on 37's, I would go with 4.88's.
I get around 10 - 12 MPG running on 4.88 gears. Are you absolutely sure you're getting that same kind of mileage on the stock gears? The reason I ask is because that's a bit hard to believe - I ran on stock gears for 2 weeks with my 38s, and I was averaging somewhere around 8mpg (not to mention the truck was a complete pig as well). Either way, definitely regear, your transmission will thank you down the line. Truck looks great as well!
