Thanks for the tips! i had a lil booboo done to my bumper in a distraction and now i'm stuck painting the bumper, so i might as well have the handles and mirror covers done as well, should be nice! I'll share the link to my thread when i'm done, hopefully before school starts in august.

Noticed your thread on the handles, those came out sweet!! I'm in the process of doing mine also, i'm a noob at painting so i will just prime them, Sanded them down smooth 100 grit then adhesion promoter then sandable primer, and working my way to getting them paint-ready, good enough? Any tips you may have is good!

Your issue with the truck idling bad with the 3000 Maf is probably due to the tune...did you get the truck tuned for that Maf or did you just put it on? If you did not get it tuned for it, then it is going to mess things up and she will run rough.
