The pictures may be a year old, but it still looks good. I'm glad that someone with a STX still takes pride in their rig. I'm tiered of people say it's a dog with the 4.6 engine. I know mine, with the change of gears to 4.56 both front and back, can clime trees... and I can accelerate with any 5.4 on the road...

    Drewsbuck,

Thanks for the complement! It has come a long way already. Tell you what, they are really easy to do yourself. Go ahead and pull them out. To separate them, you'll need to bake them in the oven at 250 for about 10 minutes. Once they come out of the oven, go ahead and start separating them. Be sure you get all of the RTV (gasket material) off of the clear cap and the black hard case. Be careful not to chip any of the crome paint off of the inside of the light. It comes off pretty easy, so you'll want to use as much paper to cover up the area you don't want to black out as possible, leaving only the edges taped. I used Krylon Fusion Satin spray paint. Use a couple of coats, and go pretty light on the first one. Before you paint, you'll want to use some 600 grit paper to sand them down so the paint holds. Once they are dry, get yourself some Automotive grade black RTV, and put them back together. Be sure you secure them together with clamps or something to be sure they are sealed up nice. I hope this helps. Let me know if I can help with anything else.

    Thanks again!
