What is special about the blackwood

I can see the obvious pin-stripes and looks like a really short bed. Looks shorter than the screw's. Any boost under the hood or is this just the Ford Caddy.

It's all about the attitude!

The engine is a 5.4, no supercharger.

The bed has carpet & stainless side compartments. The bed cover is power & the tailgate is actually bifold doors.

The interior has lots of extra wood graining in the obvious areas & 4 leather captins chairs.

it has the 5.4 4 valve in it backed by the 4r100 trans. has a slightly lowered ride height (compared to a screw). a truly unique bed/trunk (same size as a scew). rear defrost on back window. monoleaf rear suspension w/ air bag load leveling (still has a towing cap.of 8800). wenge wood accented interior pieces. alpine stereo w/ 6-disc changer and subwoofer. gps navigation. power folding outside mirro's along w/ the lincoln key/keypad specific memory (set your seat, mirro's and pedals to driver 1 and 2) just to name a few. and considering they stopped production it's probably going to be a truly limited production vehicle second to the cobra r's which means they should be worth something in the future (unlike the lightning's)

Air-conditioned seats.

The looks, stares, thumbs-up, 'nice truck' comments, and the unsolicited conversations at the gas station, car wash, etc.

Exclusivity. I have #512 (out of 3,600?)

Thanks for the link to your gallery Jim. I don't know what to say about that tailgate (or tailgates). Air-Conditioned seats?!? As the old worn out saying goes. What'll they think of next? I just wish I could see one up close. The only time I have seen any is on the car hauler about two months ago.

You guys failed to tell me about the wood grained bed sides. They blend in so well until you get right up to it. I finally saw one here in town. I got a close up look. They are all you guys said and more!

Talking Buy one on eBay.

Take Care with the A/C Seats and shorts... it's worse than a COLD Shower.
