Ideas welcome
Thanks TZR, I think Robert actually likes that one too.
I think for the windows, I want to do limo tint on the back & something not as dark on the front (not windhield). As far as decals, I want to get them all in reflective silver to help match the truck. I plan to get a JLP & an R2RP. Just not sure how big I want to go with them or where I want to put them.
That does look cool tho.

Tell me what you think about this one.
radio area: fabricating a cover for the radio & temp controls. I never touch them anyway with the steerling wheel controls. For my uses the stock radio is fine, just doesn't fit in the looks dept.
I was thinking of a cover that would be hinged to flip down when needed. I would like it to have woodgraining to match/blend, then put the Lincoln crest & "Blackwood" (Chrome?, silver paint?).
Do you think the radio would have to be recessed for something like this? I know the volume button sticks out the farthest. That was why I though flip down would be easier than flip up.

Have you checked out the dash in the 03 Nav? Has the flip down panel that covers the radio and temp controls, neat idea but can be a pain when it binds. We have broken quiet a few of them in the shop doing warranty radio replacements.
I also do think the radio would have to be recessed some for the cover to work. From what I remember it would be a tight fit to get the radio recessed any further due to the air ductwork behind the radio as well as wiring harnesses.

I picked up my (actually, my wife's) Blackwood a couple of days ago. What a truck!
As far as ideas for dress up, what about laying down a different color tape stripe in the channels on the bed. I believe the silver stripes are actually tape pressed over a molded in channel with a slightly convex bottom.
Granted, the silver stripes look classy, but just about any color goes with black. Bright red would look very nice.
Just about any auto paint supplier should have a rainbow selection of tape stripes in the proper width.
Another alternative would be to overlay the existing stripes with a thinner contrasting color laid down the center.
These stripes are easy to install. Press the tape down at one end. Stretch the tape out along the panel (sighting down the panel). Pull the paper backing off while keeping the tape taut. Press the tape down and use a soft cloth around your finger to burnish it down. Continue around to the other side of the truck. Cut the tape for the door lines (use a sharp blade). Remove the clear carrier film. Burnish again. The key is to keep a bit of tension on the tape until it is pressed down.
It is not hard, but will be time consuming given the number of lines to be covered on the Blackwood. I have striped a number of my own cars (rather than pay the dealer). I have also mixed and matched stripe colors and widths for a custom effect. Patience is necessary.
Another idea is to paint the recesses in the wheel spokes to match or contrast with the stripe colors. The inner rim surfaces could also be painted. If you feel this would be too colorful, try flat black. You can use spray or bottle paint with a wide brush. I would experiment with some sort of water based paint first so that I could wash it off.
Hope these suggestions help. You could do both for less than $30.00. Of course, the weather should be warmer.

First off, welcome aboard gbennet & wife.
Thanks for the suggestions & keep them coming.
I don't want to do anything too permanent since I am leasing so I think the striping isn't a good option for me.

but as katy said we do have the lightning rims that she can roll on until we can get them back
