Question Anyone had this problem?

I've noticed in the week that I've had my truck that if I stop somewhat hard the "door ajar" light comes on. Then when I take off again you hear the doors trying to relock. I'm assuming it's a loose sensor or something as none of the doors come open when I stop.

I have a call in to the dealer to see what he says. I'll let you know what I find out.

It may be in the bed cover it is tied into the door ajar system.
My 2 cents

That was my thought, too. Well, should find out soon, the hubby should be dropping her off anytime.

Afternoon all:

The bed mechanism is my bet too. That is one complicated piece of machinery and there are lots of tolerance issues that could cause the light to come on.
I have a feeling we who plan on keeping our Woods will be well served in buying a factory shop manual so we could at least take a shot at adjusting things once the vehicle is out of warranty.
Hope you get it squared away OK.
Bill

Well, I got my baby back & she's better than new. It was the rear door sensor. I was so glad to have my dirty truck back I gave her a bath. Nothing makes the day brighter than a nice clean Wood.

Mine, too....

I've had my 'Wood 6 days. Yesterday the "Door Ajar" light started blinking intermittently, and sometimes the tonneau wouldn't close. I discovered that the door switch on the right-rear door was busted. I dropped by the dealer this morning and he ordered the switch. I also figured out how to cram the button spring back into the switch housing and carefully close the door in order to work around the problem until the new switch arrives.
