I have a 2006 Lincoln Mark LT 4X4. I had the infamous blender with ice sound that was resolved by repairing the vacuum hose from the iwe solenoid.
Now i have noticed when traveling about 40mph+ when I hit the gas it starts to rattle a little. Seems to be coming from center of engine area. As soon as the lower gear engages coming down from overdrive the sound goes away. I only makes the sound between the downshift. Could it be the solenoid still just a deeper sound than before?
