Anyone ever Google "Lincoln Blackwood Salvage" Im amazed at how many Blackwoods are totaled. Click on "images" and have a look. Some have major damage. (One truck looks like it was in a tornado) While other look like they have minor damage and they are still totaled. Parts must really be getting hard to come by for these trucks. Interesting how many are still on the road?

 

I was looking at buying one, but I figured it may become a salvage sooner than later (theft = salvage title in TX) in my neighborhood. Didn't want to chance that, so just looking for Lariat or King Ranch versions instead.

I see one listed on my local CL that is salvaged, though nice looking...probably a theft recovery.

 

Be leery of buying a rebuilt Blackwood. Many peices of their interiors were unique to those trucks (center console, door panels, especially the rear doors) and those parts are hard to come by. I've seen a few rebuilt BW's on ebay sporting black expedition/f150 interior parts.
