04 mark lt and 04 f150

ok i see a bunch of mark lt's and they are identical to my truck. since i am poor i cant go out and buy a mark lt but what is all different on them? and did they offer a extended cab version instead of the 4 door? from the outside it looks like a grill and tail gate but i imagine the steering wheel has a Lincoln emblem on it also.

interior trim, tailgate (ugly) grille(ugly) exterior trim and on the 08's I believe the headlights changed a little compaired to the f150. oh yeah, and the price tag. When I was shopping for my 04 f150 I too was looking at Mark LTs and I couldnt find a used one under 30k

The tailgate applique takes a little more than bolting on, but the grille, headlights, and fender emblems are a direct swap. The biggest differences were found in the interior, with the custom seats, dashtrim, and gauges.. They also rolled on 20" wheels with the lincoln emblem in the middle.

I dont think the red on the tailgates light up, I believe there just reflectors. I think they are recessed into the tailgate skin a little though.

As far as the Tailgate, they aren't actual lights only reflectors. There are holes in the tailgate for allignment pins for the applique and reflectors. There are also holes in the doors for allignment pins in the Stainless molding around the bottom. The Headlights changed in 2007 and 2007 and 2008 also saw the addition of the Elite model without the Stainless trim. The Seats are trimmed in different seat covers which have a different stitching pattern. In 2006 the seat covers have a small Lincoln emblem molded in to them and in 2007 they actually have a chrome emblem. There are some differences like the Lincoln emblem on the two tone steering wheel and the gauges as well as in 2007-2008 they have a unique ebony wood inserts. Also, the Lincolns came with 18" wheels with the option of the 20" wheels used on the Navigator.

I bought an LT in June last year, basically because the 50k warranty worked out to the same on my pickup and a new Ford (36k and 50k).

The differences between my moms 07 lariat and my Lincoln on the exterior are grill, valance, headlights, mud flaps, nerf bars, bezels around the tail lights, end gate, bug deflectors, maybe rear bumper. The only difference in the interior is the fake wood, floor mats, gauges, and seats with chrome emblems.

Mine also has a dimming driver side mirror. I don't know if that was an option on the lariats.

The chrome on the rocker panels seems to be a bit different than the regular after market stuff too. I have found that the chrome on the wheel wells is a Lund piece since mine gave a deer a kiss.

I can send pics of my Lincoln to compare. Unfortunately I can't send pics of my mom's Lariat since it's a ways away. But hey, you don't need them since the tins are the same except your box, because I dont think Ford made a 5.5' box on super cabs.
