Hey everyone. My lease is coming due in the next four months, and just for ****s and giggles, I decided to test drive a 2009 dodge ram...and I was blown away with the horsepower and the ride! The beast took off like a bat out of hell, and the ride was smooth! The interior is really sharp too.
Now, I've been a ford man for years (I've owned four fords-two rangers, two f-150's), but the '09's seem about as aerodynamic as a brick, and the interior seems way too busy (too many buttons, a la the 1990's version of the chevy interior).
I guess I'm looking for some feedback on what my choice should be, considering the Ford did take truck of the year, even with less horse power, and a fair ride.

 

To be honest, I have looked at both the Ford and Dodge trucks and, while I love my Ford, I don't think you could go wrong either way.

 

I guess it all boils down to personal taste. However, if you have had good luck with your Ford trucks. that may be something to consider. Also, I beieve that I have read of cracks developing in older Dodge dashboards.

 

Oh one more thing, I agree about the new Ford F150 as much as it pains me to say. I like the last body style better. The trucks I looked at the other day seemed,,to... busy for me if that makes sense.
