New from Miami - Supercharged Mark LT *DUW*

I'd like to take a moment to introduce myself. Some of you may know me from some other boards by the name of Rick-n-Miami. As the name indicates, I'm from Miami, Florida and am a performance enthusiast.

I currently own two vehicles. The first (my race car) is a 2004 Mercury Marauder (Trilogy Supercharger w/14lbs boost, headers, etc..). My second vehicle is a 2006 Lincoln Mark LT.

I purchased the Lincoln Mark LT brand new in October 2006. It's a 2WD with the limited-slip rear and 20" rims.

A few weeks ago, I took it over to Ft. Myers to have some close friends (aka professional supercharger installers with like 25+ installs under their belts) install a new Trilogy Motorsports roots-style supercharger with 9.5lbs boost. I like to think I've created what is most likely the baddest Lincoln truck in the entire country, and I'm proud to call it mine!

I took a few pics of the install to share with you:

The installers cars sit outside (all of us drive supercharged Marauders...):

The array of quality Trilogy componets line up at attention:

The intake being taken apart:

Claude tearing down the old intake manifold:

The old intake manifold is out, the new setup is getting ready to slide into place. One of the installers (Chuck) proudly shows off what he mistakenly thought was his blower assembly:

And it fits!

Chuck checks in on Marc to make sure he's doing the cluster assembly correct:

And of course he was! This guage was meant for this truck!

The plumbing and cold air intake are assembled and Claude double checks everything. Install Complete!

The ride home from Ft. Myers was great. The truck runs stronger than ever (of course) without any problems what-so-ever. I can't wait to get the LT and the MM cleaned up and some good pictures made of the both of them together a.k.a "The Ultimate Lincoln Mercury"

And for anyone interested, here's me and my Marauder:

That's a nice and quick truck you have there!

As it sits now, the LT should turn high 13's or so. The biggest setback with it right now is a terribly small and pathetic factory exhaust system. I've seriously thought about headers and a better cat-back setup, as I know that would open it up a LOT. However, I think I'm going to leave it as is.

The one thing I really like about it is that it's relatively quick, but is still super quiet. My Marauder is SUPER LOUD and is much, much faster. So, I think I'll let the Marauder be my loud race car and leave the truck as a nice, quiet "grocery getter." lol

Yes, it's an Eaton M112. It's liquid intercooled, 9.5lbs of boost, etc. The kit includes absolutely every single part you'd need and very detailed instructions. The tuning is included and is done by Lidio Iacobelli of Alternative Auto in Detroit.

It is very torque-ey off the line. My god, what torque does this thing have! lol. Traction is an issue, somewhat. These Pirelli 275's that came with the truck, along with the limited slip do help though. I'm sure 4x4 would be even better.

Sweet truck man!

I want to have a Marauder like those someday too. I think they are badass sleepers for sure

Oh, do you have pricing for that trilogy kit by chance?

Thanks!

The kit was $5995. It includes everything, right down to the boost guage, handheld tuner and tuning. All parts were included and I estimate the install to be about 6 hours if you know what you're doing.

Very nice truck! Have you had it on the dyno? If so, what kind of numbers are you putting down with 9.5 lbs of boost? How much did the supercharger affect the gas mileage?
