I typically use 93 since the places I tend to stop at don't have 91.

I know we see the results of running higher octane than recommended in our Stang so i don't run anything lower than recommended by the manufacturer.

I alternated regular and premium and couldn't tell any difference in the way it ran but the mileage actually seemed to drop off with the premium down to 12-1/2. I do seem to have to crank it sort of long to start, and may try another tank of premium to see if that changes but for now I don't see much point in buying the expensive gas.
