in the morning or when my LT is turned off for a while, when i turn the truck on and reverse with my foot on the brakes, my brake pedal vibrates pretty strongly and it makes that deep squeaky sound, it only happens when the truck is sitting somewhere for a long while and i guess everything is cooled off. my LT only has 1150 miles on it, just got it 2 weeks ago, but this seems weird. i get the deep squeaky sound always when i got my foot on the brakes and letting go slightly, which im told is normal, but the strong vibration dont feel right. i want to go to the dealer, but before i go, i want to hear all your opinions here as to what this could be. i put on my emergency brakes everytime i park the car, could it be something to do with that or something else. thanks alot everybody, let me know please.

For what it is worth, my 05 Navigator does the same thing.
It doesn't seem to hurt anything and after 4500 miles I just ignore it.
It may just be "normal" for all I know. I mentioned it to my service writer and he said most of the SUVs and LTs do it to some extent.

thanks for replying, what i also notice is that when your just driving normally the accelerator and brake pedals vibrate, not as strong as like i stated previously when im reversing in the morning, but you feel a vibration. i had a 02 mustang gt conv. before this, and i never had these vibrations on that car, so im not used to it yet if its normal. do you get some vibration on your pedals when your driving and braking Bill?
anybody elses opinion as well please on both topics??
thanks

We used to have this happen on a few other cars and it was always in the morning, when backing up. Turns out it was the ABS setting itself. Totally normal. Now for our current vehicles I haven't noticed it, but we drive out of our garage in the morning so who knows.
