Bill Murray
Hi Straps:
So far, I have not gotten a line on a Blackwood diecast although I am told they exist in very limited numbers.
As to missing the Blackwood, frankly, no.
Pat and I just did our annual treck to Lincoln Nebraska, first road trip for the Gator. 2,200 miles round trip and the Gator is by far a better over the road cruiser in terms of comfort and NVH control
We carried back two exhibition booths worth of goods, about 1,200 pounds that we purchased at the annual HobbyTown USA Convention which absolutely filled the vehicle from stem to stern, top to bottom
Fuel consumption was heavier than I expected and the best was 15.7 mpg at highway speeds of 75-85 mph indicated.
The now current Nav System is light years ahead of that which we had in the Blackwood and the DVD player in the back seat area was a trip on the way up when we were unloaded.
I guess, basically, I just like the Gator better.
Bill
