Good luck with that new ride. Big upgrade from the F150, huh. Like the color, very classy. What do you still have to put on?

Outstanding!!!!!!

Way to go Jim. What a great color choice and your list of upgrades is awesome.

While I decided not to do it, I was looking at a high end DVD Navigation System for my '92 Town Car. Check out the threads on the subject on this forum. Some really nice stuff out there, including Sirius, for about the same as the factory price.

What other options did you get, factory ones I mean?

Enjoy your new ride.

Jim:

Thanks. Seems you got all the good stuff on the factory side as well.

If you read a couple of my posts on the not until I am six feet under thread here on the LT/Blackwood section you will see that I have made a brash prediction that Lincoln may just very well do quite OK with this truck.

As an enthusiast, I have made some criticisms about product content etc., particularly the non availability of a factory Nav system but I hope I am smart enough to understand that the vast majority of the target group for the LT may overlook that one, to me, glaring omission. On that subject, I suppose most of the potential buyers do not intend to take their LT's cross country. House to Golf Course, house to Charity Ball, House to the Drug Store for Meds etc. etc. Note that I do not put you in that category, you are a true enthusiast.

Enjoy, my friend.

All the add ons are not here yet.
The one from the Lincoln book want get here until the 10th. So no need for pictures until every thing is put on.
The Harley exhaust system came in Friday, but they ordered the wrong muffler. How can they order the wrong one after ordering 3 before for me? You have to get the 2001 it's 1 in and 2 out they ordered the 2003 which is 2 in and 2 out.
I have the pictures just as soon as they have every thing on.

Jim:
Roger your last. And yes, it is irritating as hell to have to order a very simple part three times considering today's computer technology. I have the same problem. Understandable on my old Town Car, not so on the Blackwood or the Navigator and have had problems with both.

Having said that, I think your LT looks smashing just as it is and I also thank you for preordering one and helping to drive up the price of used Blackwoods.

Cheers.
