Can anyone answer this question. It is Blackwood built on the F150 frame or the Sportrack frame.

I think the F150, but no one can agree at the shop.

The FRAME is SuperCrew.

 

And the supercrew frame is a Expy frame... same one...

I always thought the EXPY was based off the F-150.

Let's see...

1st came the F-150.
2nd was the Expedition (based off of the F-150)
3rd was the Navigator (based off of the Expy)
4th came the SuperCrew (F-150 SuperCab with 1 foot more inside and 1 foot less in the bed)
5th came the Blackwood (SuperCrew with Navi front and interior and special bed)

So yes, the Blackwood is based on the F-150 frame.

The SportTrack is based off the Ranger frame as was the previous generation Explorer (which the SportTrack is from).
