2000 Lightning never taken it in for any warranty work yet ...

Any major recalls i should get done? Warranty runs out in May and at 23k miles now.

I have one place i think i can take it and still leave the chip and filter in and i know it will be taken care of right.

Thanks

I got something with a red paper the other day that said emergency recall, but it did not say what it was for.

Cool

The wiper motor recall is one that comes to mind.

I haven't taken mine in for that one either.

I have 35,500 mile on my 2000 L and it has been back to the dealer 3 times.

1. Free first oil change.

2. Front end clunk.

3. Intercooler replacement.

Lets all just admit it

Even with all the griping and complaining that goes on Ford does build pretty good trucks. For example my brother owns a Chevy and from the day that he bought it and brought it home you could be running down the road and it had very bad wind noise on the interior. You are going to have bugs with new vehicles. Let be thankful that ours are not overly serious.

I can totally agree

Even with the best built truck you have "lemons" . Sorry to hear that you are having all of those problems. Hopefully they will get fixed as quickly as possible.

Good luck
