Some people prefer fashion over function, others function over faction, and others both.
So, when the sun hits the cluster at the optimum angle, we get this:

As for those pedals, A buddy of mine wrecked his vehicle with those crappy bling bling pedals. The so called "no drill" attachment straps broke and jammed the brake. Even with MOMO pedals or similar, they require proper mounting ....Something of which most just rush through to show their friends.

To call that a performance modification is truly heinous.

if its the only thing done than i dont think i like it. but, if you were to accent it w/ other brushed pieces than it may look sweet as a package

i do have other brused aluminum stuff in the cab, im just not finished yet either, i plan on getting plenty of other stuff as well to accent it with, so far i have, ac ****, window switches, and my gauge cluster cover(if i find a better one then i will go with that, or maybe i will make my own) i plan on getting some rem stuff and more mgw stuff for the column as well, its just yet unfinished.
and nostromo, its not shiny at all, well it doesnt reflect straight sunlight directly, youre able to get more glare off of the plastic shield in front of it. oh yea i plan on getting my billet pedals (and i am not halfazzing that, im going to install them right!)

Going for an extreme situation there. Same thing could be said about nice and shiny painted interior pieces such as the radio/climate cover, which could glare sun worse then the brushed aluminum. Or it could glare off an uncleaned windshield, freshly waxed car near you, huge aluminum wing on a civec, etc. I'm not saying brushed aluminum cannot or won't glare, just unlikely in that placement.

Now non-drilled pedal covers , those are just horrible. (Actually almost all aftermarket pedal covers I've seen have been horrible)

We all know for a mod to be liked, first the main crowd has to approve and then everyone must/does have it. Thats how a mod is liked.

I like it.

Dude, take it easy. When was the last time you saw anything reflect off brushed aluminum, at any angle????

Looks different/nice. :tu:
