how do you remove the svt emblem from the back of the truck. Can u take it off and put it back on or does that mess it up. I would like to make it all chrome and am havin a tough time doing it while it is on the truck. So can you take it off easily or not?

When I took mine off to paint them I screwed up the tape. The emblems usually come off pretty easy when they are heated. Just be careful when removing because the plastic is hot and has the tendency to bend alot easier. To replace the tape just go to a parts store and get some 3M double sided tape.

 

sounds like a pain. I guess i will just leave them on and work around it. I hope acetone wont take the regular truck paint off. I only hit the truck once or twice by mistake and cleaned it right away so it should be ok. Taking the paint off the emblem is a PAIN IN THE A$$ I hope it looks good when it is done.
