that picture looks nothing like what the new f150 will look like.
For has said time and time again the truck will have small access doors behind the driver and passenger doors for more access behind the seat. That picture doesn't have them, and also compare that to the spy shots. Truck trends sucks.

Will there even be a 2004 L or are they going to skip to this?

Is the 2005 the next L or will there be a 2004?

SVT little 800 number guy has told me that IF there is an '04L, then it will be the same as our current Gen2 models. There will be no new L until '05. take it with however many grains of salt you wish.

later,
chris

IMO cars/trucks are getting uglier by the redesign. Looks like I'm gonna be keeping my cars for a lot longer.

IN my Humble opinion

It is going to be hard to beat the 99-03 bodystyle L. To me it looks great. Guess that is why I have a 03 ordered.

I completely agree. The 99-03 flareside is the only truck I have ever seen that I actually like--as opposed to tolerate--the styling.

Doesn't look like it can be lowered.

Put enough horsepower and torque in it and it'll grow on me too!

I have to agree with cdees, very hard to beat the 97-03 f150's.
