Question I wanna paint some interior pieces: QUESTION

I need a winter project while the L is in storage.

Since I liked the way my brake rotors came out, painted "anodized" red, I want to try that on an interior trim piece, specifically the surround bezel for the raidio/climate control pod in the center of the dash.

I located a wrecked 2WD F150 and can get the bezel for $15.

My question: will a bezel from any 97-02 truck fit my 2002 Lightning or is it more complicated than that?

Any other input on this project would be appreciated, too.

Thanks!

I think the only thing that may be different with that piece is the airbag switch, all L's have not all F150's have it (I think).

Thanks! Some side cutters to do the snip-snip with the wrecked truck's airbag switch, and it should be a "go."

Am I correct that the vent louvers can be transferred from L to new bezel? Looks like airbag switch simply unscrews for the changeover from old to new.
