Question Question About Belt Slipping?

I was wondering if any of yall notice the supercharger belt slipping as it changes into second gear. When I'm at WOT you can hear my belt slipping. I have a new belt with the right size for my pulley. I belive I bought a gator belt. Could I be losing power when this happens? My tranny don't have the hard shifts as most cause I ordered that way. So whata think?
Tim

What happens is the tensioner unloads for a second as the rpms drop on the gear change. As it unloads, the belt gets loose momentarily, and sometimes can be heard as an audible chirp. It's nothing to worry about, and I doubt it hurts performance at all.

Thanks Sal I didn't know if it was a problem or not. You begin to notice things as the mods and hp increases!
