Your best bet is to go with subwoofers that are designed for small enclosures. As you probably know there is limited space behind our seats.

Kicker L7's work well in this application.

I went with Diamond Audio. I haven’t put them in yet but I heard nothing but good comments about them.

I had the Kicker L5's, but have just upgraded to the L7's because I had more than enough power to run the L5's. I think bang for the buck you will be happy with the L5's, and they are a little cheaper than the L7's, and you don't have to have as much amp. to run them.

For the money, by far the Apline SWR-1041D 10" Type R Subwoofer is the best sounding sub. Use the 1041D if only one sub, or twin 1021D for two subs.

how bout JL

I got a couple JL 10WOs on the back seat of my supercab! They bump. If you want loud go with Kicker if you want good bass and sound quality go with JL.

Audiomobile Mass. They are excellent subs and get loud and clean. You can buy them direct from the manufacturer through the internet. Eclipse Aluminums are also excellent subs, as I am running a pair in my Navigator. If money is somewhat tight, then you can get Rockford Fosgate hx2's for about $125.00 shipped to your door on ebay from a reputable seller. Good luck in your choice.

Audiomobile isn't a manufacturer? Hmmm, wonder why they would bother with a website then?

Excelent subs. Just visit any of the car audio boards and you will see them talked about quit a bit.

Jamie,

That setup looks great. Did you do it yourself? I have been to your shop. Maybe I'll stop by to take a look at your set up in person. That is if you have your truck at the shop.
