A four spoke steering wheel.
Ford makes a good four spoke but they didn't put it in their trucks.
I would think something that handles like a Lightning would benefit from a better wheel.

If the newer ones have the four spoke then disregard,
(I haven't looked in a new(er) ones).

I would make bucket seats and put in some kind of center console(maybe Expedition).
Then add some more guages(boost and temp) and a couple subs in the back and some amps under the seat , then maybe a LCD screen radio(say ALPINE) then probaly PS2 and some billet interior stuff. Did I leave anything out? Oh yeah .... Wet Okale seat covers.

Thats what I would change or something

That's about it cosmetically--Ford really got the L interior right! When my carpet gets trashed, it's going to be replaced with black.

Non-cosmetic: in-dash CD changer, climate control, better side bolsters on the driver's seat, better instrumentation, buckets with a console, radio buttons on steering wheel.

TONS!

Lose the cheap ABS plastic dashboard and get something of substance.

Leather bucket seats with centre console.

Plush carpet

better stereo

soundproofing.

In other words, put a Lexus interior in the L and you have the best vehicle in the world. (would also raise price to about 50 to 60 grand...so forget it!)

this would work

Replace wood with black wood or carbon fibre if you so desire

Most important is audio controls in the steering wheel!!!!!

No more hard plastic on the doors... that just seems cheap to me. Other than that... ummm... nothing, I guess.
I love how the seats are now.

It definately needs a place to put your helmet. So that it doesn't have to sit on the floor or seat when you do your daily driving.
