Actually the Klan is more active up north.

We had the Klan come down from Illinios a few years ago to march in Memphis. It didn't turn out as well as they had hoped.

Not many white people turned out to watch and the black people turned out in great numbers to heckle the crap out of them.

 

Down south it's all out in the open.

Up north it's all in the closet We got some wonderfull places up here in NJ for that *****

 

Does the Silver Bullet catback come with an X pipe? I saw one on the full system…

The Silver Bullet is the best; because, that's what I have.

Seriously though....... with the price difference taken into account, why buy the more expensive part with everything else so closely debated. I'd say they are about equal in most every other way. If you throw loudness out of the equation, the Borla system kicks both their asses anyway. By far the best fit and finish, and nothing sounds as sweet as the Borla at WOT. Mine will probably go back on when I change to LTs and Hi-flo cats.

There is no real quick answer for your question. Everybody has got different opinions on sound vs. being practical. The truth is we have had numerous trucks come into the shop just to take off the Bassani because the drone when cruising would make them get a headache after a short time of driving. They couldn't even talk to the passenger normal becuase it was even worse on their side. I can only give my personal opinion on the system since I own a truck and drive it everyday even in the recent snow storm, heck I even had icecycles coming dripping down from the pipes because it was so cold. I couldn't ask for a better looking system than the Silver Bullet. The fit, quality, finish, and not to mention the gargantuan tail tips are second to none. I especially loved it since I didn't have any drone at 70 MPH. This is only my opinion and I can't speak for anyone else. I know the Bassani runs $650+ and the special right now is $425. All the people that have got on this deal already have got an amazing deal.

Again, lets keep this one on topic and there have been numerous threads on exhaust sound quality which can be found by using the search button on the top of the page if you are looking for more opinions.

Justin, I sent an email to you last night on the exhaust. I am sure you guy's are busy today, but I would like to order one of the exhausts for my 2002 Harley Davidson F150. Is this a direct bolt on for the Harley? It is listed on the web site for the Lightning/Harley, but before I order it, I need to know. Thanks...

 

I certainly didn't want to start any wars here - I am very interested in an exhaust I suppose I shouldn't have said "kicks ***" - so let me re-phrase - all the sound clips I have heard sounds like the Bassani is louder.

But, that was my reason for posting and BTW - I am by no means an expert nor do I claim to be. I have an 03 on order and am trading my 02 F350 Diesel in on this new truck.

I am an older guy who is one of the old racers from the late sixties early seventies. Love my speed - I have had a number of performance vehicles in my day from corvettes to mustangs to camaro SS's and on and on. I am no big time mechanic nor do I profess to be. Just a bolt-on guy who likes to boogie.

That was my reason for posting as I know nothing about Lightnings if you asked me about Chevy go-fast products I can talk a little on that, but I haven't had a go-fast Ford product since my little covert 71 Mustang with a 351C block and Holley double pumper with sync posi and spank-me 4 speed.

Anyway I sent email to Jeremy and he got back to me and I am going to order the Silver Bullett exhaust as the difference beween the two don't warrant the extra 200 clams. If I offended anyone I didn't mean too... Thanks to all espeacially Chris that stood up in my defense and thanks Justin for posting back ...
