I talked with a fellow SVTOA member and he says that the boost bypass gave him more power. Is this possible?

I've never (that I know of) had a boost dump problem. So I never cared to bypass it. Any thoughts on this?

 

There is no possible way to pick up power from the mod. Only to keep the power you already have, with out worry of the PCM dumpping your precious boost.

 

That's what I thought. But this guy swears on it.

So has this boost dump happened to anybody? Or are most people doing this just to make sure that it won't?
