what size fits our lightnings? will 305/50/18 fit? will the 50 series profile be too tall or is that what its supposed to be? negligent loss in accuracy or do i need a reburn?

I just put those same tires on my L yesterday. I got the 555Rs in the back and 555 up front in 295/45.

 

same size 305/50s out at back? how do you like them? do they seem to hook a little better on the street than the f1s?

 

are u talking about the drag radials?? I dont think they make them in that size... do they????

 

the guy selling them says they're 305/50 nt 555R drag radials....

yea i just checked on discount tire...only 305/45/18...not 50 series so i dunno whats up...maybe he's not selling nt555r's?

 

I botched my post. I got the 555Rs out back in 305/45/R18 and 555s in 295/45/R18 up front. Haven't had a chance to test them out yet. The L is currently in the garage on jack stands getting the Belltech 3/4 and Caltracs. If I'd ever get some time off of work I'd get it finished.
