Burning oil?

I really don't think so b/c I have 3500mi on my truck, so what is it?
No matter how I drive it when I get out I smell oil. Just changed over to mobil 1 friday. But the truck was doing it before, however it didn't use much at all. All help is appreciated

Yeah, some 5.4's had pass. side head gasket oil leaks on the back of the head that would drip down onto the cat. conv. and cause a stink, but hopefully this is not the case. Hopefully its just some oil that was spilled onto the manifolds while filling it back up? Crawl up underneath and look at the pass side of the engine and trans...any oil? or the cats have oil on them? Hope this helps

run4bux,
You may have a leaky head gasket(passenger side). Our trucks are notorious for that. Take it to your dealer. I thought mine was a bad valve cover gasket turns out it was the head gasket. Anyway it is at the dealership being fixed as we speak.
