Back From PRI
Back From PRI
Just got back after a long weekend at the PRI show in Indy. For those of you who don't know what the PRI show is, it's basically like SEMA, but it's all hard core performance parts, and it's not open to the public.
I'm glad to see there were no disasters waiting here for me when I got back, just one idiotic, self righteous post that I'm not even going to waste my time responding to.
There wasn't really that many new items at the show that apply to our trucks. But I did meet with some of my current parts/materials suppliers, and met some good new ones too. We should have a bunch of new products out for the coming season for our trucks, some stuff to resell made by other manufactuers, and some stuff being made for PSP at our request.
It was nice to see Johnny and Sue there, as well as Aaron and his dad from Metco, with DL helping out in the Metco booth. Since the PRI show is for people in this industry only, I also saw a ton of other great people I know, meeting some in person for the first time after having years worth of phone relationships
.
The NMRA awards cerimony was also held Friday night, and it was a really nice production. My hats off to the NMRA for a fine job. All the top ten finishers in each racing class got to go on stage and get nice 2002 Championship jackets. I was one, as was Beefcake, JL and Aaron from Metco.
Overall it was a nice time, and I look forward to next year's show.

PRI vs. SEMA
SEMA is way bigger than PRI was. It was nice going there. I got some good leads, and made some good contacts for future projects. It is a lot harder to get into PRI than SEMA. I wish SEMA would be that hard to get into. I am looking forward to the show in the end of FEB. that is more hot hod, than PRI was. PRI was more Drag racing/ Circle track. Still had a good time. I was only down there 1 day, and that was enough for me. I would of had more ideas going threw my head to do next.........

. You shoulda seen him, in a suit and tie, he was STYLIN!
Rob, yes, the new schedule is out. Bradenton, Silver Dollar, National Trail, Maple Grove, Atco and Beech Bend are all the same as last year. Added for this year is Ennis TX, May31-Jun 1-2, and Joliet IL, July 25-27.
