okay guys call me stupid because I bought my 2000 L used but what is this x- plan and I think Ive even seen a m-plan. I also have a unrelated question about owning a used L. Like I said its a Blk 2000 L with some spider cracks and it looks like orange peel in the paint. As for as I know its stock paint from the factory. Do you think I can go bitch to the dealer and mabey get a repaint?

I d/kabout your paint problem...but the x-plan is a lower price plan offered by Ford to members/emplyoees of certain associations/companies. I got mine thru the EAA(Experimental A/c Assoc.) but you have to be a member for a year now to qualify for the x-plan.

Ford employess are given some x-plans from time-to-time that they can give away. It is up to the dealer whether they accept your x-pan. They don't have to and it's only for new vehicles.
