Question Anyone got pics of 18" Boyd Codd whls. on their L

Anyone have any pics of 18" Boyd Smoothie II or Boyd Patriots on their L? Trying to see what they look like compared to the 20"s. I know I should go with the 20"s but I don't know if their is that much difference to splurge for new tires since my stock F1s still have lots of tread left.

Hey Snake...

First I would like to say "Welcome to the Site!" - It may be late...but better late than never

I am not aware of what the "Boyd Codd" wheels look like but if you post a pic of them, some of the photoshop experts might be able to help you out.

I have been wondering the same thing for a while now...

I just have some difficulty with paying $800 per wheel plus whatever 20" tires cost just for looks, that $5000 or so would buy a lot of mods.

Are the prices on http://www.boydcoddington.com accurate, or can you get them cheaper through someone else?

here are a few of them. I was looking to buy a set of smoothie's back in '01 when I bought my red truck, but now I like the Timeless2 and the Fury better.

later,
chris

They are closer to $500 per wheel. You could get the wheels and Dunlops 9000s 295/40/20 tires for about $3,200.

boyds lists the:

Smoothie2 (cast) 20x10 for $530 per wheel.
Timeless2 20x9.5 for $792 per wheel.
Fury 20x10 for $690 per wheel.

can they be found cheaper?

I was under the impression that they are all special order with a 2 month wait?

Chris,
My bad.
I was talking about the smoothies only. Sorry, forgot to clarify.

I posted this a while back for a pic of 18" Smoothie IIs on a L. Badazz said he had a pic of a black L with 18" Smoothie IIs and said he would post the pic but he never did.

At Discount Tire I was quoted $330 per wheel for 18" Smoothies which is a little cheaper than some other places on the net. But the price increase between 18" and 20" Boyds is quite the difference per wheel. Is it worth spending an extra $200 per wheel for 20"s? This is what I need to know.

If I could see a pic of any style of 18" Boyds on a L this would be a deciding factor on what do. I 've seen a couple of pics 20" boyds and they are real nice. I just don't know if want to spend that amount of money for the 20"s.
