Spray in Bed-Liner
Does anyone have a spay-in liner??????? I actully use my L as a truck instead of kicking everyone's butt who ties to race me (Although I do that also). I keep damaging my bed with the shifter kart I take out every week. The spray-in liner looks to never tare but I want to see if anyone has any advise on them????????????? or pics????????.

I have spray in Line-x. Looks good, extremely durable and is much smoother than the other spray ins I have seen. Only drawback is it is permenant. Bedrugs are an option, but not as heavy duty.

I have the factory Ford bed liner. My thoughts... I may want to move something messy, like mulch for the wife. Bedrug would probably stain (red mulch). For me it is the best of both worlds. Very rugged, water proof, prevents scratching and denting the box, not permanent, light weight, looks good (not as good as a bed rug), very functional. And I can't see it tearing, it is very thick.
I got my truck Lava Lined the same day I picked it up at the dealership. I am still gonna get a bed rug though. I just sold my 84 K30 to my friends dad so I got some cash burning a hole in my pocket.
Thanks for the info guys, I think I'm going to go with the Line-X seems to be the best.....

If this is the solution you need, you won't be disappointed. Make sure you find a dealer that does good work, it makes a difference.
The bed needs some prep work and there are some areas they should not cover so you can get at them. You don't want someone doing it that doesn't take pride in their work. Find someone in your area that has had a Line-X job and get some input from him (or her).

I have the factory Ford Duraliner drop-in, too, and it does protect the bed. But...water doesn't drain, just runs out the back when you accelerate. Mine rarely sees rain but for some people it can be a problem. Also, when I hit a bump, the liner 'rattles.' I will probably switch to a Ford Racing rubber mat or a Bed Rug with a cover.
Line-X all the way. I've had all sorts of stuff in the back of mine w/ no problem . All you ever have to do is hose it out when you wash the truck and it looks great. I've had mine in for over two years now and it still looks like it was just sprayed in.
air1kdf and hotrodman are right. Factory bedliners are the way to go. Very rugged and not easily damaged,, plus you can hose 'em out and not worry about it. They also increase re-sale value, unline spray-ins
I'm thinking of going with the Rhino b/c of the ability to match color (True Blue here). I've had the Ford factory liner in other F150 trucks I owned, it it was great, but like others have said, does tend to rattle b/c it's so rigid.
Can Line-X be color matched? I'm not worried about color fade too much, since I keep my bed covered when not in use.

Vettkilr,
Yes, Line-X can be done in color, but I don't know how close they can match True Blue. I'm sure one of their dealer can give you an answer.
I've seen several spray-in liners before choosing Line-X because it definitely looks the best. After hauling lawn equipments, paint, mulch, bricks, etc. around, the bed still looks great.
FWIW, I've had a drop-in plastic liner in my old 3/4 ton work truck in the past and won't ever use a hard plastic bedliner again because: 1) it is slick like snot on a brass door ****, so stuff fly around in the bed. 2) they rattles, and when it rattles, it means the liner is rubbing paint off the bed somewhere. 3) it either hides all the tie downs... or 4) if you cut openings in the bedliner for the tied downs, water get in between the bedliner and the bed and bare spots from item #2 above starts to get rusty.

Dude,
Line-X......all the way! Looks very professional and stays that way. I purchased my L back in March of this year and have hauled a bunch of chit without it doing any damage to the bed area. Go for it!
